GODDESS OF LIFE, OLD DIVINE

As one of the original beings created directly by the Supreme Being, Jasmine is regarded as one of the Old Divine - in fact, she's one of the oldest. Her status as the goddess of life comes partially from being the personified form of the Netherworld and also being imbued with the force of life itself, but not entirely. Her position means that she has also been "assigned" the role of many earthen life goddesses (as well as being "part" of what makes up monotheistic gods such as well. God). From this comes many of her children (though not all) - the offspring of the life goddesses she represents are hers as well.

I love Jasmine dearly (particularly when compared to my own mother...). I wish I could hug her though, even for a second. I've been told she gives great hugs... I must wait until the end of time though - for our touch will destroy both us and the cycle of life and death itself. (Or, at the moment, send them over to our much worse counterparts...)

I really like my mom - we often have late night chats, and she always offers me food. I also would've never survived the years when my kids were little without her help. She was always there, unlike some people. Though those "some people" also had responsibilites to rule over (and were grieving, in my husband's case) so I guess I shouldn't be mad... As for my mom, I've been staying here so long because I don't like the way Lily treats her. I know she's been putting up with it for far longer than I've been alive, but she's my mom and I want to protect her, you know? She sighs.

My dearest sister. She is a bit too easy on the Underworldians - on everyone, for that matter - so it is often up to me to protect us from the threats other realms and other people present. But I suppose that is my role as her sister.
