The most well-known of the Underworldian Fates (by virtue of being the main one people consistently see) and eternal (willing) servant of G-d. Outside his roles as clairvoyant, divine judge, adversary of man, and Mouthpiece Which The Supreme Being Speaks Xemself Through, he enjoys playing chess, studying the ways of magic, hanging out with Death (as well as other people in the castle), and occasionally (lovingly) messing with Angel and Mysti.

created by the supreme being at some point (when humans were created? when the demons were? when life was? the beginning of all things? before then? as far as morningstar knows they have always existed and always will.), the fates are eternal servants of the supreme being and the way for xem to interact with the overworld (and earth, by extension). they carry out xer will throughout the overworld. through this they gain the power of judgement free from the biases of normal creatures. they are also gifted the ability of clairvoyance - though they are not allowed to tell others of their fate or steer them from it (barring very particular life or death situations or in certain cases of severe trauma; cases which death seems to land himself into often...)
incidentally, morningstar is a death god in a sense - as he has both the wings and the powers of one. unlike the others though (and likely as a result of his fate status), he has the ability to resurrect the dead (for those that are permanently dead, not temporarily dead immortals). for multiple reasons, he does not often use this.
as a fate, morningstar remembers little and yet much. he has no memory of being created, but at some point long ago he spearheaded the split from the Elysian Fates and has lived in a tower in the underworld ever since. like death, most of his life has affected others far more than himself. well, until the antichrists finally came around and things got interesting. he's been steering them towards earth since they were little, trying to avoid his eventual destruction before Xe wills it. so far, he's been quite successful.
well, mostly. he couldn't have ever kept them from finding out the tale that created them. but at least now they have second thoughts about killing him.
i love morningstar so much. he's one of my dearest friends.. i do feel bad sometimes, the way he worries over me and all of my implusiveness. it's like he forgets i can't die. He huffs.
i miss him sometimes, though i understand why he left... we used to have such nice chats, when he lived here.
he was one of the first people (besides the doctor) I met in the castle after Grimm took me in, and he's been worrying over me ever since. He was actually the one who gave me my name - at our first meeting he greeted me as ha'Satan, and since then that's been the primary title I go by.
